Company
The name is a pun. The engineering is not.
Phyntec is a Paris-based engineering company building the Phyntec Engine: an open-core engine that computes deterministic cash flows and event schedules for standard contract types, through lifecycle events to ISO 20022 messages.

Who we are
Four founders, four disciplines.
Proof engineering, contract ontologies, financial-grade infrastructure and financial regulation, in one team.
- 01
Formal verification and AI
Proof engineering, and methods for AI agents that work against the explicit specification and never originate a number.
- 02
Blockchain and ontologies
Contract meaning agreed before code; two years in the working group standardising algorithmic financial contracts.
- 03
Financial-grade infrastructure
Systems that carry betting, insurance and payment volumes in production.
- 04
Financial regulation
Counsel for regulated instruments and institutional deal structuring.
How we work
Consultancy funds the build.
Advisory, training and audit engagements with financial institutions pay for the engine and write its requirements. Engine v1 reaches general availability in 2027; the first machine-checked proof, for fixed-rate bonds, is due end 2026.

The position we are taking
The reference implementation of verified contract logic.
To be the layer every tokenized instrument is measured against, whichever platform it settles on. Consultancy funds the build. Standards work secures the interface. The open core wins distribution. Assurance and rails monetise it.
